Maternity bliss on Mt Macedon
A wonderful hour spend on Mt Macedon for this gorgeous maternity shoot by Sanatorium Lake in the Macedon Ranges. An absolutely stunning mama-to-be, who looked like she stepped right out of a fairy tale. Or perhaps it was me that stepped into one? This gorgeous couple made this maternity shoot an absolute breeze – we walked and chatted, took photos and had a little laugh. And don’t they look stunning?

It never stops being exciting and a true privilege, to walk through the doors of someone’s house – after they invited you to witness an enormous change in their live: the birth of a new baby. It’s always special, it’s always truly beautiful. The tiny hands and tender touches, the newborn vibe of all being new and uncharted territory – yet so natural and instinctively familiar. Newborn shoots have got to be my favourite photo shoots of all of them. And this one was no different. The glowing new mama, the beaming and proud new dad. So much happiness, so much love.
